​​​hELPING THE LIBRARY SELL "ONE BOOK"

Bob Fonte, Director or the Stark County Park District, appeared in Halloween costume to present our October 31st program, tracing 50 years of park development. He emphasized that more expansion will take place in the future.

​FOL provided a decorated cake as part of the refreshments that morning. Joyce Swad was among the guests.

FOL volunteers Louise Moore and Peggy Howley manned the sale table at the Palace Theatre during the One Book - One Community author appearance on October 18th.

COMBINING FORCES TO ENCOURAGE GARDENING

FOL volunteers like Alice Cook (above), stamped and labeled thousands of envelopes to be filled with seeds by the Master Gardeners. The Stark County District Library will distribute these at no charge during 2017.
